Walgreens Update and Trip of Savings!!

First things first, the Cottenelle deal that was reported to us last week is not part of my Walgreens deals this week (Twinsburg area) but maybe it is in your area. So I wanted to give you all the heads up with that. However, I still bought them because it is still great deal and here is why:

- $1/1 Walgreens Coupon Oct Booklet
FP: $3 ea. or around $.25/roll~!

I had used $17 in register rewards from last week and here is how my trip ended up working out. I did 2 transactions.

I spent a total of $1.41 (before tax) after coupons and previous register rewards! I received $7 more in Register Rewards to use for next week! SO I made $5.59 this week for everything you see in the picture! Of course I had to buy several $.10 Laffy Taffys to cover my filler items!

The Cover Girl deal from our Walgreens Coupon Matchup was a HUGE money maker to the point where I couldn't use all of the rest of my coupons because my total was already too low. So I had to add the paper plates and the 3 tins packs of Lysol wipes (which were packaged together B1G1 $3.79 for 2) I was not happy about having to buy the wipes and plates without coupons but what are you going to do when you have too much overage to even use the rest of your other coupons : ) I guess FREE is FREE!!

When you go to do your Cover girl deal keep that in mind and look for the cheaper items between $7-$3 and since they are B1G1 50% off many of them (like the eye shadow) end up being between $1-$3 Money Makers!
