Couponer Call For Help!!! MUST READ!!

I received this email last night and it really touched my heart! Thinking about these little children not only do they not have any family but then to not even have the simple things in life like toothpaste??

WOW, I knew I had to share with all of you in hopes that you will #1 take the time to read it and #2 that you will take all of these new (or not so new) Couponing skills you have learned and make a difference. Many of you have wrote to me to tell me how you do not keep everything you get for free and that you make it a point to donate when you can so this should be right up your alley!

I know I will be buying a flat rate box today at the post office and filling it up with all of the extra toothbrushes and toothpaste (and whatever else I can find in my stock pile that they might benefit from) and I hope all of you do the same. Imagine this organizations faces when they get overwhelmed with boxes filled with supplies from our Couponing Community!

Let’s show people that NOT ALL of us Couponers are Greedy, Hoarding, Crazy People!!

I will also be sharing this email with all of my coupon blogger friends in hopes that they will share this on their websites too!

Here is the email from Paula I received:
"Hi Michelle!
I have been following you since your first appearance on New Day Cleveland and LOVE all that you do for us couponers in the Cleveland area.

When we were faced with the decision to start a family through adoption, I came into couponing to save every penny we could to put towards our adoption costs. It all paid off - we have an adorable 3 year old from Kazakhstan (part of the former USSR). Currently, adoptions are not taking place in our daughter's country of birth as they are "reforming" the process. This breaks my heart to know that there are children in the orphanages caught in the system. To help ease my hurt, I support a group called Two Hearts for Hope that sends needed supplies to the orphanages. This year they are also fundraising to replace all of the windows in the orphanage our daughter spent her first year of life in (but that's another story for another time). Recently, they've also started working in orphanages in Russia (the word got our what great work they do and they're branching out to help even MORE orphans). Currently, they are trying to send the simplest of things: toothpaste, toothbrushes and soap.

This is where you come in. I was wondering if you could put out a call for help on your website. I think it's a pretty safe bet that most of your readers have a TON of toothbrushes and toothpaste that would be MUCH appreciated by the orphans. You can read more about Two Hearts for Hope and the items they are requesting here:

http://www.twoheartsforhope.org/smile.html

I am told by one of the founders of the organization that all donations can be sent to:
Two Hearts for Hope
PO Box 1928
Lebanon MO 65536"

(I say we add "Couponing Community" to the return address so we track our results and see just how many of us are actually giving back)"They are trying to collect money to buy these supplies, but I told them about all of us couponers that would be happy to send what we got for free anyway and they were ecstatic!
Thanks in advance!!

Paula"

Well Paula you are right I have faith in my readers and the couponing community that they will help out and would love to be able to share the results with everyone. So if over the next few week's you hear that donations start flooding in please let me know so I can share that with everyone! And thank you so much for reaching out to me!!

I am sure they can use pretty much anything. Check out their website for more info but I imagine these kids don't have much of anything!
