Jamie what area do you live in?I'm from southwestern Pennsylvania. The giant eagle that I shop at only allows you to use 12 coupons for 12 like items. Did you make multiple trips into the store? Also, there are 2 ladies who wait outside the store every thursday and sunday for it to open. They clear the shelf's by making multiple trips into the store. The manager there said if people continue to do this corporate is going to change the coupon policy.It will limit the number of items you can buy per household.
I live in north east ohio. I do multiple transactions or my mother goes with me and goes down a different lane to help check out. I normaly shop on the last day of the sale in the evening just because I think its rude to empty the shelves and make it unfair to those who dont coupon or only coupon for a small amount. I am sure people like the ladies you talked about that wait out side the store are going to ruin things for the rest of us they are greedy it seems I would ask the manager to order the products i needed if i am going to buy a large quanity of them.
